Okavango Delta Camps, Botswana
Botswana sells low volume at a high price, and the Okavango is where that model works hardest. A private concession here may hold six camps across half a million acres, with no self-drive traffic and no day visitors. Water camps run mokoro and boat activities and go quiet for game drives when the flood peaks around June and July. Land camps drive year round and dry out in the same months. Many camps do both, badly or well.
